Hi, I'm Anastasiya

People always ask me what a typical week looks like as a ghostwriter.

The truth? There’s no such thing as typical. Every week is different, shaped by client work, creative projects, and the experiences I chase down to keep my imagination alive. But if I had to give you a snapshot, this is what a week in my world looks like.


Monday: The Studio

Monday mornings start slow. I’m not one of those people who jumps out of bed ready to conquer the world. I need coffee first. Good coffee.

I usually head to Novo Coffee on 6th Avenue or Nixon’s Coffee House if I’m in the mood for something funky. I grab a specialty coffee—sometimes a matcha if I’m feeling it—and settle in with my laptop.

This is when I dive into client work. Monday is absorbing day. I read through notes from discovery calls, listen to interview recordings, dig into research. I’m studying my clients like a cultural anthropologist. What do they care about? How do they speak? What lights them up?

Writing is only 10% of my work. The other 90% is this—immersing myself in their world so I can translate their ideas into words that actually connect with their audience.

By mid-afternoon, I’ve mapped out the week’s projects: an email sequence for one client, a newsletter for another, maybe some social content for a third. I love this part. It’s like organizing a puzzle before you start putting the pieces together.


Tuesday: Building Worlds

Tuesday is when I build.

I’m back at the studio, but today I’m writing. I’m crafting email courses that educate and convert. I’m drafting newsletters that build relationships. I’m creating personal brand content that positions my clients as the authorities they are.

This is the work that turns ideas into assets. Content that keeps working long after I hit publish.

I take breaks to step away from the screen. I’ve learned that my best ideas don’t come when I’m staring at a blank page—they come when I’m walking, wandering, letting my mind drift. So I’ll take a walk around the neighborhood, grab lunch at Olive & Finch, or just sit outside and people-watch.

The more I absorb from the world around me, the more I can contribute to my work.


Wednesday: The In-Between

Wednesdays are my in-between days. Half work, half life.

I spend the morning refining drafts, making edits, collaborating with clients. Then I close my laptop and go live.

Maybe I hit up The Molecule Effect for an afternoon coffee in the Denver Art District. Maybe I wander through a museum or drive out to the mountains if I need to clear my head. Maybe I just grab a book and sit in a park.

This is the part people don’t see. The part where I reload my imagination. Copywriting requires me to activate both the left and right sides of my brain—strategy and storytelling. And to do that, I need to step away from the computer and experience things that make me feel alive.

Concerts. Road trips. Conversations with strangers. Long walks under a starry night. Movies. Food. The mountains. All of it.

It’s not procrastination. It’s part of the process.


Thursday: Droplets of Love

Thursday is Sonder day.

Every Thursday, I publish my weekly newsletter, The Sonder. It’s my “Droplet of Love”—a little reminder to keep moving forward, sent straight to inboxes around the world.

I write it for people like me. People who’ve felt lonely, overwhelmed, burnt out. People who need a reminder that they’re not alone in this messy, beautiful life.

It’s different from my client work. The Sonder is mine. It’s personal. It’s the thing I do by night while I ghostwrite by day.

After I hit send, I feel lighter. Like I’ve kept a promise to myself.


Friday: Movie Night

Friday mornings are for Friday Film Club.

I send out my weekly movie pick to my “Freaks and Films” community—movie lovers around the world who watch together, but in our own corners of the world. I include a themed snack and drink on the menu because what’s a movie without something delicious?

Then Friday night? I’m watching that movie. Maybe with a glass of wine, maybe with a friend, maybe alone in my living room with the lights turned down low.

Disney movies are my favorite. Ratatouille. Coco. Encanto. The ones that remind me to see life through child-like eyes. The ones that bring magic to life.

Because here’s the thing: the more I absorb, the more I can contribute to my work. And movies?

Movies are fuel.


Saturday: Wandering

Saturdays are for wandering.

No laptop. No agenda. Just me and the city.

I’ll walk through Cheeseman Park, grab brunch at Aviano in Cherry Creek, or take a drive somewhere I’ve never been. Maybe I’ll end up at a new cafe I’ve been meaning to try. Maybe I’ll stumble into a bookstore and lose track of time.

This is where I find inspiration. Not in trying to find it, but in letting it find me.


Sunday: The Ritual

Sunday is my reset day.

I clean my space, organize my thoughts, and prep for the week ahead. I review what I accomplished, what I’m working on, and what’s coming next.

Then I close my journal, pour myself some tea, and just breathe.

Because this work—ghostwriting, building worlds with words, turning ideas into assets—it takes everything I’ve got. And if I don’t take care of myself, I can’t take care of my clients.

Work and play go hand in hand. One cannot thrive without the other.


The Whole Machine

So that’s a week in my world.

Client work in the studio. Publishing newsletters and movie picks. Watching films that remind me why magic matters. Wandering through cafes, parks, and mountains. And the rituals—the coffee, the walks, the breathing room—that keep the whole machine running.

It’s not (always) glamorous. It’s not always easy. But it’s mine.

And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
